Who we are

Michelle Jewell has been an occupational therapist for 17 years. She has worked extensively with children and young people with difficulties in areas such as play, self-care skill development, school performance, seating and positioning. Michelle has specialist skills in areas such as sensory processing, skill development, assistive technology prescription and specialized home modifications. She has previously worked as a Senior Occupational Therapist supervising, advising and guiding occupational therapists and other clinicians in the area of developmental disability across the government and non-government sector. Michelle has a passion in ensuring that a person is actively engaged and participates in their everyday life. As a mother to young children herself she believes in providing recommendations and support to children, young people and their families in their natural context and fit with the other demands in their lives.
